Storms Cause Sub-Pump Failure & Ground Water Issues
6/20/2018 (Permalink)
While most people like when the spring rolls around, this past spring wasn’t too kind to our area. Our area received a lot of heavy rain storms. The storms caused the ground to become saturated and intrude into customers homes. Not only was the ground water an issue the storms caused trees to fall and cut power to homes and business. SERVPRO of Marlboro/Tinton Falls received many calls because of ground water intrusion and failed sub-pumps. The phones didn’t stop ringing during the storms.
Although the calls were good for business many of the losses our customers encountered were not covered losses, they would have to be covered out of pocket. We understand that most people don’t prepare for these kinds of losses because they believe it would be covered by their insurance, so we work with customers. Please go over your insurance coverage’s with your agent to see if you’re covered or not. If you are not covered and they don’t offer that coverage then prepare and save some money in case this happens to you. Either way SERVPRO of Marlboro/Tinton Falls is here to help you in any way possible.
