The storm drain was clogged and backed up into the basement of this home. We had to remove drywall and carpeting.

During the fall storm season, we seem to have lots of wind included and this could cause issues because of leaves being blown around.  If you don’t remove leaves from your gutters or outside drainage areas this could cause flooding/backups into your home or business.  It is recommended that leaves be removed from these areas once most of the leaves have fallen to the ground.  Yes, it may be a hassle or something you don’t feel like doing but in the long run it will save you money by not having to pay for water mitigation on your home.  If you don’t feel like doing it hire a landscape company to come out and do a fall cleanup, it might cost up front, but it will be cheaper then paying for mitigation.  SERVPRO of Marlboro/Tinton Falls is here if you are in need of water mitigation from flooding, we can be contacted at 732-536-7555.
