Sewer Damage In Woodbridge, NJ
1/16/2020 (Permalink)
In our industry we require the use of certain equipment to do our job correctly. This may include detection devices, extraction equipment, air moving and dehumidification equipment, as well as safety equipment. Having access to the right equipment is only part of the process.
Equipment utilization involves three levels of understanding.
- Water restoration technicians must be aware of the proper equipment to accomplish the job. For example, the water technician should know that a desiccant dehumidifier would be ideal for drying low evaporation materials like hardwood floors.
- Technicians must know how to properly operate equipment, adhering to instructions by the manufacturer of each devise. In connection with the prior example, the technician should know to duct the desiccants’ wet reactivation air outside of the structure so the humidity inside can decrease.
- The technicians must know how to effectively and efficiently operate the available equipment to dry structure and contents. In the example above, the technicians must know how to contain the floor with plastic and to duct hot, dry air (from the desiccant) to the affected hardwood floors.
We provide training to our technicians and send them out to get their WRT (Water Restoration Technician) and ASD (Applied Structural Technician) certifications by the IICRC. We take pride in how our technicians are trained in our field. Therefore, SERVPRO of Marlboro/Tinton Falls is the one to call for your water damage needs.
