SERVPRO of Marlboro/Tinton Falls received a call from a customer about a musty smell in their car. The customer had said they had the dealership (leased car) remove and replace all the carpet and headliner in the car because it was moldy. Even after replacing these items, it still smelled musty, the customer was concerned because they have young children and wanted the car to be safe for them to be in. Their insurance company had them give SERVPRO of Marlboro/Tinton Falls a call. Without not knowing where the source of water intrusion was coming from, we could not guarantee that our process would rectify the issue. We ended up fogging the car with EasyDECON DF200.
